Hawre Zangana came in 1986 to Germany and completed his studies of drama, pedagogy and social psychology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. In 2017, he doctorate with the thesis “Theater als unsichtbarer Therapeut” (eng. Theater as invisible therapist). 2002 he released the book “Das Theater als Form des Widerstands” (eng. the theater as part of the resistance) in Kurdistan.
Hawre Zangana worked as cultural translator at the city council of Munich. He was the director, producer and initiator of theatre projects with adolescents and adults, which concentrated on integration and cultures. He had the presidency for Kurdish theatre conferences in Munich and Nürnberg. Additionally, Hawre Zangana works as playwright and journalist for theater magazines (productions like “Theater der Zeit” eng. Theatre of the time).
